The role:
1. You will set the hygiene requirements to meet customer expectations and continuously improve on-site functions.
2. Review existing practices and recommend and implement new procedures as appropriate.
3. Ensure cleaning operations comply with specifications, meeting cost, quality, productivity, and H&S targets.
4. Develop staff to ensure full utilization of their skills, and coach and develop team members to improve individual and team performance.
5. Drive continuous improvement to maximize efficiencies through the development of people, processes, and systems.
Your experience:
* Experience leading a hygiene team within a food manufacturing environment is required.
* Robust knowledge of retail standards, BRC, micro standards, and current technical legislation is essential.
* A proven track record of delivering improvements, managing, and resolving related issues is necessary.
* Leadership skills are crucial for this role.
