Overview
Trust Doctor ST3+ Cardiothoracic position, 12 months fixed term at Blackpool Victoria Hospital in the Directorate of Cardiothoracic Surgery. The post is based at the Lancashire Cardiac Centre and offers invaluable experience with the Cardiothoracic Surgeons, who have the largest experience in endoscopic heart valve surgery in the UK.
You will be exposed to the full range of adult cardiac and thoracic surgery while working with the team responsible for the Cardiothoracic Service in the northern part of the North West Region.

Responsibilities
* Work alongside Cardiothoracic surgeons, managing pre‑, intra‑ and post‑operative care.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 10 Consultants, 9 Registrars and 4 ST1/2 Trust Doctors.
* Participate in adult cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, including endoscopic heart valve surgery.
Qualifications
* Full GMC Registration.
* MRCS or equivalent.
* Minimum 12 months Cardiothoracic experience at ST1/2 level.
* Trust Doctor ST3+ level.
