As HR Assistant, you will play an important part in making this happen. You will work alongside the Regional HR Manager and the General Manager, overseeing the HR functions as the main contact on site for the Holliday Inn Express London Heathrow T5 (IHG).
The primary responsibilities include providing advice and support to managers and colleagues; assist with recruitment and onboarding processes; support staff engagement, provide advice and support on employee relations; provide administrative support, maintain accurate employee records, and work with the wider HR Team assisting with HR related projects.
Personal qualities and experience
* Previous experience in an HR generalist role, with a full understanding of HR functions, best practices and UK employment law.
* Experience of working a hospitality environment.
* Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
* HR related qualification – CIPD qualification (or working towards it) is desirable
