Production Planner & Scheduler | Lewes | Up to £38,000 A growing laboratory equipment manufacturer is currently seeking a Production Planner & Scheduler, reporting directly to the Operations Director. The Role: * Develop, update, and maintain the production plan within the ERP system (SAP Business One, MRP/MPS) to ensure customer delivery deadlines are achieved. * Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Procurement teams to agree on forward schedule requirements in line with business needs (S&OP). * Enter agreed forecasts for all products into the ERP system. * Work closely with Procurement to ensure materials and components are available to meet both forecasted and confirmed demand. * Create and release Works Orders (WOs) in the ERP system, aligned with agreed forecasts and customer requirements. Key Skills and Experience: * Solid understanding and hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems, with the capability to quickly adapt to complex software tools. * Comprehensive knowledge of creating and managing Works Orders, as well as handling related stock movements within ERP/MRP platforms. * Practical planning experience within an electro-mechanical manufacturing or production environment. * Proven background in using both MPS and MRP functions within an ERP system. * A solid general education, demonstrated by passes in English, Maths, and a Science subject (or equivalent qualifications).
