Female Support Worker – Day & Waking Night Shifts
Location: Ballingry, Fife
Contract: Temp-to-Perm (Permanent opportunity available)
Hours: 36 hours per week (day & waking night shifts)
Pay: From £13.00 per hour (DOE)
Driving Licence: Essential
ASA Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Female Support Worker to join a well-established service in Ballingry, providing 1:1 support to individuals with Autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a stable, supportive care team, with flexible shift options and a clear pathway to a permanent role.
Due to the nature of the service and client preference, this role is restricted to female applicants in line with the Equality Act.
The Role
Deliver high-quality, person-centred support
Promote independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing
Provide personal care and assistance with daily living tasks
Support individuals to access the community and meaningful activities
Build positive, trusting relationships
Accurately record and report changes in needs or behaviour
About You
Female Support Worker with 6+ months’ UK care experience
Experience supporting individuals with Autism and complex needs
Calm, reliable, and confident working independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
PVG membership or willingness to apply
Shifts Available
Long days (e.g. 08:00-20:00)
Day 08.00 – 16.00 and evening shifts 16.00 – 22.00
Waking night shifts available
Rotational weekend working
