The role is for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join a leading national fire safety service provider. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to contribute to a business that protects lives and property across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Carry out detailed fire risk assessments across a wide variety of commercial, residential, and public buildings.
* Evaluate fire hazards, review existing safety measures, and provide clear, actionable recommendations to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
* Conform to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 in all assessments.
* Identify fire hazards and assess risks to people and property.
* Review existing fire safety measures including escape routes, alarms, and firefighting equipment.
* Produce clear, professional assessment reports with actionable recommendations.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on fire safety compliance.
* Assist in the development and implementation of fire safety management plans.
* Stay up to date with fire safety legislation, standards, and industry best practice.
* Maintain a full UK driving licence and be based in the Midlands with flexibility to travel across the UK.
* Maintain strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
* Possess essential communication skills to produce high-quality reports.
* Membership of a professional body (e.g., IFE, IFSM) and knowledge of passive and active fire protection systems.
Qualifications
* Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment or equivalent recognised qualification.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience conducting Type 1 & 3 fire risk assessments.
Requirements
* Based in the Midlands region with flexibility to travel across the UK.
