Overview
Audit - Industry & Services Graduate Trainee – Birmingham – start date 1 September 2026. Role at Mazars UK LLP (formerly CompetitionRx Ltd).
Responsibilities
* Master the art of auditing: prepare meticulous audit documents using the latest software and methodologies.
* Financial statements: develop a deep understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
* Work side by side with clients: be immersed in the business world by working directly with a variety of diverse companies to understand operations, challenges, and unique circumstances.
* Build relationships: connect with key stakeholders both with clients and internally across teams and service lines; gather relevant information and build professional relationships.
* As Years 2 and 3 progress, take on increasingly complex audit work (e.g., revenue recognition, valuation, risk assessments); lead audit engagements and mentor junior team members.

* On track for or have obtained an undergraduate degree; strong academics considered alongside other experiences that demonstrate growth and development.
* Deep curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to think critically and solve problems.
