Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Production Manager – Bespoke Joinery / Hardwood Flooring will involve:
* Production Manager position that will focus on a high end manufactured range of hard wood flooring such as: parquetry, marquetry, antique and boarded floors
* Manage and oversee the production personnel to achieve maximum production efficiency (team of 10)
* Ensure all work is carried out to required quality standards and within deadlines
* Ensure that all regulations, policies and health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times
* Maintaining timber inventory levels and other required stock
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other departments to ensure effective communication and service delivery
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues or escalate complex problems as needed
* Identify areas of the production line that need improving to increase productivity
* Provide regular feedback to the workforce around performance
The ideal applicant will be Production Manager – Bespoke Joinery / Hardwood Flooring with:
* Must have experience working in a similar production / workshop environment dealing with timber engineering, wooden flooring, bespoke joinery, or furniture
* Excellent management and leadership skills
* Sound technical understanding of the machinery used (sanders, laser cutters, cross cut saws etc)
* High levels of attention to detail and organisation
* Ideally will have experience on the tools and worked up to supervisor / manager level
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations
* Ideally familiar with Lean or Six Sigma principles
* Proficiency with workshop management software and Microsoft Office tools
