Job Description Resourcer
Identify, attract, and shortlist candidates for the recruitment process to fulfil the requirements of the business. Provide universal support to the recruitment function and Contract Managers/Labour Managers.
Typical Work Activities
Maintaining and building the Reliable Contractors data base, of all candidates current and enquiries, ensuring retention of records rules are applied. Provide pre-employment and compliance checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation. Daily communication with Contracts Managers. Place adverts for positions required. Interview for suitability.
Resourcing for sites involves:
• Actively calling/ emailing individuals who have applied to our adverts and searching for CVs on the database and job boards to recruit them for the roles we have.
• Building a Labour pool of candidates for each project.
• Regular communication with the Labour pools
• Updating/ reconfiguring CV’s
• Find out and input candidates’ information to book them into a job
• Managing the candidate’s journey and aftercare once placed in a job
• Consulting with Contracts Managers regarding job orders
• Placing adverts, consulting with JCP, WIC, HMP, Ex Forces to attract with the CSR Manager
• Ensuring that candidates know where to go and what to bring for their first day in line with the contracts managers instruction.
• Update CM’s daily with candidate suitability.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings, as and when required.
• When candidates are not needed for live vacancies, proactively source potential candidates, interview, check and record fully into our candidate database/Labour Pool for future searches.
• Draft and place suitable adverts with relevant brokerages (project specific), and advertising mediums (sources to be revised and agreed)
• Conduct initial candidate screening before passing to CMs for interview and decision
• Manage own time and tasks to meet given targets.
• Comply with Company quality processes and procedures at all times.
• Work with onboarding to complete and process the induction paperwork for new employees, scanning applications and induction packs.
• Answering the telephone when required and keeping on top of all own administration.
• Working with management to identify own development needs and request relevant training.
• Operate in line with relevant Employment, Health & Safety legislation and employee’s rights and responsibilities.
