We are currently seeking a Regulatory Affairs Coordinator who is passionate about cosmetic regulatory compliance. We are looking for a candidate who has familiarity with PIFs, CPSRs, labelling requirements, and regulatory submissions. This role will primarily focus on regulatory document compilation & existing product changes.
The regulatory team sits within the legal department and is focused on both regulatory compliance and consumer safety to meet the higher standards of quality and commerciality. The role will work closely with the Brand, NPD, Manufacturing, Laboratory and commercial teams to provide expert technical knowledge to support both new formulation and maintenance of our existing portfolio.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain Product Information Files (PIFs)
* Assist product notifications across EMEA, EU, UK, APAC and US markets via relevant portals (CPNP, FDA, etc.)
* Support reformulation projects thought regulatory assessment and documentation
* Review labelling compliance across markets
* Assist on implementing regulatory changes and updates across all existing markets
* Monitor regulatory developments and updates in key markets
* Maintain regulatory databases and filing systems
Essential Skills:
* Strong knowledge of the EU Cosmetic regulation (EC 1223/2009) with understanding of UK, US and other market regulations
* Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Toxicology, or related field.
* Excellent organisational skill and attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and with clients.
Desirable Skills:
* Previous internship or work experience in cosmetics and personal care
* Knowledge of INCI nomenclature and cosmetics ingredients
* 1-3 years experience
