About the Role
St Christopher’s is the supported housing provider for the London Accommodation Pathfinder, a service aimed at improving accommodation and outcomes for young people aged 16-17 involved with the youth justice system at risk of custody. You will work with local authorities across London to deliver programs promoting personal responsibility, understanding consequences, and supporting positive outcomes in education, training, employment, and independent living skills within a trauma-informed environment.

Key responsibilities include:
* Safeguarding young people by working with external agencies and emergency services, adhering to safeguarding procedures.
* Collaborating with local authorities to reduce offending behavior and support court order compliance.
* Maintaining a trauma-informed environment within the home.
Applicants should have:
* A relevant qualification in Social Work, Probation, Youth Justice, or Youth Work.
* At least 1 year of experience working with at-risk youth.
* An understanding of challenges faced by young people, especially non-white youth in the criminal justice system.
* Ability to handle challenging behavior effectively.
* Good communication and team skills.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

* Salary: £27,352/year full-time, pro-rata part-time £15,246.
