About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic to join our busy workshop team. You will be responsible for servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and vehicle inspections, working strictly to manufacturer specifications. This role is ideal for a technician with proven experience, strong technical knowledge, and a professional approach. A 4-day working week option is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
* Diagnose faults using manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment
* Carry out vehicle inspections and scheduled maintenance
* Maintain accurate job cards and service records
* Ensure all work meets manufacturer, safety, and quality standards
* Work efficiently to meet workshop targets and deadlines
* Support excellent customer satisfaction and service delivery
About You
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic
* Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification preferred
* MOT Testing qualification advantageous
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Reliable, professional, and detail-focused with a stable employment history
* Full UK driving licence
* Own tools required
