The Role
Join a passionate and supportive Public Services department where innovation meets inclusivity. Their team delivers engaging programmes across Levels 1 to 3 providing students with real-world learning, strong progression pathways, and a caring environment that champions diversity.
Responsibilities
* Teach and Assess: Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Public Services programmes, including BTEC Levels 2/3
* Provide academic tutorship, constructive feedback, and support tailored to individual learner needs.
* Create an inclusive classroom that encourages academic achievement.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Build links with local employers, public service organisations, and schools to enhance work placements, recruitment, and student opportunities.
* Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, marketing, and outreach initiatives.
Education, Skills and Experience
* Degree in related discipline a post-graduate teaching degree
* Proven track record teaching Public Services
* A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed)
* Right to Work & Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
* Knowledge of teaching styles recommended.
* Excellent interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
* Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
