We are hiring for a Lead Designer for Reuters Plus, the commercial creative studio at Reuters, servicing a wide roster of external client partners.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Lead Designer, you will:
1. Lead a global design team, ranging from backend to frontend immersive design capabilities and pre-sales mocks.
2. Take a key role in developing Reuters Plus creative concepts, from page and video designs to social promotions and interactive digital experiences.
3. Communicate with multidisciplinary stakeholders, from Sales and Marketing to Social and Production.
4. Work closely with the Content Director to ensure creative innovation and attract new business.
5. Help raise the profile of Reuters Plus capabilities globally.
6. Develop and inspire the creative team to produce award-winning work.
About You
You’re a fit if your background includes:
1. Significant design experience at an agency or in-house studio.
2. Good understanding of the global business landscape, brand, and corporate identities.
3. Experience with digital design tools such as Ceros, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects.
4. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
5. Ability to work across different time zones to tight deadlines.
6. Creative problem-solving skills that align with business objectives.
7. Belief that B2B is the next frontier for creative content.
