Job Description Due to team expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified rural surveyor to join a well-respected Consultancy Team. You’ll be responsible for valuation and consultancy work across Yorkshire, Cumbria and the North East for a range of rural and prime residential assets. You’ll be based out of their York office, and your focus will be in the following areas: * Valuations for a range of purposes including; loan security, taxation, probate and estate planning. * Consultancy work including landlord and tenant matters, for a mixture of rural, commercial and residential properties. * Wining new instructions from banks, solicitors, accountants and private clients. * Application of basic tax law. * Negotiation. Key skills required for the role: * MRICS qualified. * RICS registered valuer. * Excellent numerate, analytical and technical skills. * Ability to produce. high quality written reports, including Red Book valuations. * Attention to detail. * Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage own time. * Have an innate curiosity and be eager to experiment, push boundaries of what is possible and deliver efficiency in addition to effectiveness. * Driving licence.
