About the Role
Optalis is the adult social care delivery partner on behalf of Wokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council. Optalis is owned and funded by the two councils. We are looking to recruit an additional qualified registered nurse to join the care home in Burghfield Common.
Responsibilities
Ensure the highest standards of person‑centred care are delivered at all times through accurate assessment, planning, delivery and ongoing evaluation of care plans.
Carry out nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
Act in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and maintain registration requirements.
Work as a team player to supplement the staffing team, motivated and approachable to all levels of care staff.
Qualifications
Qualified registered nurse (RN) with current NMC registration.
Required DBS clearance: Enhanced with Adult Barred list.
Proof of right to work in the UK.
Salary and Hours
Full time contract: 44 hours per week.
Annual salary: £57,930.87 (equivalent to £25.25 per hour).
