Are you a reliable, organised, self motivated person, looking for a role working with children and young people?

Do you want a role which can offer you part time hours, flexibility and a term time only contract?

We are looking to recruit a School Health Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team here in Bracknell and can offer a 26 hour working week, term time only.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Bracknell School Nursing team to deliver the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) to children in Reception year and Year 6. You will require excellent organisational skills, the ability to work in partnership with other teams and agencies, along with great communication and a passion for working with children and families whilst being able to adapt to continuing change.

Your work base will the The Rowans Childrens Centre however the majority of your time will be spent in the schools you are visiting.

Deliver the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) for children in Year R and Year 6

Co-ordinate the delivery timetable of all commissioned schools

Input collected data onto the NCMP database

Contribute to developing, reviewing and improving the service delivery of the NCMP

Undertake hearing tests and make referrals to Paediatric Audiology

Provide administrative support to the school nursing team when required

The "must haves" for you to be considered for this role:

* You must be able to work without direct supervision and manage your own workload
* A degree of agility and the ability to carry/manoeuvre light to moderate loads
* Car driver with ability and readiness to travel to multiple sites
