We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR professional to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations across the school. Acting as the lead operational HR contact, you will support managers with routine employee relations matters, oversee recruitment and safer recruitment processes, ensure compliance with employment legislation, maintain accurate HR systems and line manage HR support staff. You will work under the strategic direction of the School Business Manager, who will oversee complex casework and wider workforce strategy.
The successful candidate will be CIPD Level 5 qualified (minimum) with at least three years' experience at HR Officer level, strong knowledge of employment law, and experience across the employee lifecycle. You will be organised, discreet, confident advising managers and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism. Experience within education and knowledge of safeguarding or safer recruitment would be advantageous.
