The role of the Technical Manager – Building Envelope Systems will involve:
* Technical Manager position promoting a range of building envelope projects
* Manage and grow a team of draughtsmen and engineering contractors
* Coordinate technical delivery for a range of commercial projects from pre-construction through to completion
* Provide technical support and grow relationships with clients, architects and suppliers
* May be required to visit site 1-2 times per week
* Keep up to date with relevant standards and company documentation to ensure compliance
* Be the internal subject matter expert on technical aspects of the product range
* Oversee a range of projects with a value up to £10m
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Manager – Building Envelope Systems with:
* Must have 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Manager or a closely related technical position
* Proven technical understanding of façades, curtain walling, cladding, aluminium windows & doors or a related building envelope system.
* Proven leadership and team-management skills
* Strong problem solving skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Customer focused and orientated
