We are looking for a friendly, professional Ward Clerk with a passion for making a difference to others.
Youll be working Monday to Fridayat Cygnet Hospital Harrow, helping ensure the smooth and safe management of our care.
Cygnet Hospital Harrow provides a recovery focused service treating a wide range of mental health problems. We also offer specialist diagnostic, assessment and inpatient services for individuals with mental health needs and who also have a dual diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.
Our acute in-patient psychiatric services offer assessment, diagnosis and treatment for individuals with a wide range of psychological and emotional problems, including those who are detained under the Mental Health Act.
Your day-to-day...
1. Assist clinical staff in ward administration
2. Ensuring accurate recording & circulation of information
3. File all patient case notes & conduct regular audits to ensure all paperwork is up to date
4. Complete all ward filing in line with Cygnet policies
5. Answer telephone, cover reception & undertake other administrative duties as required
6. Ensure that reports are submitted on time & that care plans are accurate & up to date
7. Liaise with medical secretaries to ensure timely submission of reports

14. Experienced in administration in a fast-paced hospital environment
15. Organised, diligent & can strictly adhere to processes & procedures
16. Knowledgeable of mental health & patient confidentiality issues
17. Skilled at inputting, pulling & analysing data using Microsoft Excel
18. Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc
19. An excellent verbal & written communicator with strong interpersonal skills
20. Able to swiftly solve problems & work under pressure without compromising quality
