This is a 1 year Fixed Term contract.
The Installation Services business is at the forefront of providing solutions to residential customers. This means that we are continually going through a constant process of significant change. As Product Owner for a domain area within E.ON Installation Services, you will be responsible for the vision, strategy, and ongoing delivery of our boiler product.
The Product Owner acts as the link between the business and the development team, working closely with both to ensure that their product meets the needs of its users. The Product Owner is responsible for continuous engagement with the business, agreeing on prioritising, feeding this into the development team, engaging with business readiness, and ensuring a quality end-to-end delivery.
Responsibilities include:
1. Ownership of the backlog refinement and prioritisation based on business needs
2. Creation of detailed User stories
3. Act as the link between the business and the scrum team
4. Own user story creation based on business requirements and acceptance criteria
5. Identify business readiness activities against each sprint to ensure successful implementation within the business
6. Evaluate work completed by the development team and provide constant feedback
7. Clearly communicate the product backlog to all team members (business and scrum)
8. Be an active member of the Product Owner forum
9. Act as the key business resource on incidents in their domain, attending and participating in fix calls and managing business stakeholder communication
10. Work closely with the Product Manager for the relevant domain
11. Raise any risk of delivery or to the business to the PMO
12. Build excellent working relationships with senior stakeholders across solutions incl. regional operational management level to derive and implement consistent regional system change roadmaps
What we need from you
Essential
13. Experience of working as a Product Owner
14. Strong Leadership and communication skills
15. Domain experience in one of the following fields: Asset, Industry, Field, New Connections, Solutions
16. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to challenge at all levels
17. Effective interpretation of business requirements
18. Growth mindset – continuous improvement always at the forefront
19. Confident decision maker
20. Experience working within a DevOps & Agile environment
21. Experience with developing a CRM, in particular Microsoft Dynamics
22. Adaptable to changing priorities based on business requirements
