We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner to play a pivotal role in a major ERP transformation programme for a well-known brand. ERP experience isn’t essential but a big bonus to have. This is an opportunity to influence how the organisation delivers change—leading not only the delivery of key programme milestones but also helping the business transition towards a more product‑led, customer‑centric way of working.
You’ll act as the bridge between stakeholders, delivery teams, and senior leadership, ensuring clarity of vision, alignment on priorities, and consistent, value‑driven execution. While ERP experience is beneficial, it’s not essential—we’re looking for a genuine, hands‑on Senior Product Owner with proven experience in large‑scale environments and a passion for championing better product practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and define the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for a major ERP transformation workstream.
* Lead the shift towards product ways of working, coaching teams on product thinking, backlog management, and customer value delivery.
* Work closely with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, change, operations, finance, and transformation—ensuring alignment and smooth delivery.
* Translate complex business requirements into clear, structured epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure strategic alignment and manage expectations.
* Facilitate discovery, define problem statements, and ensure solutions meet user and business needs.
* Support programme planning, forecasting, and delivery tracking, driving a clear understanding of value and outcomes.
* Manage dependencies across multiple teams and ensure risks and issues are identified and mitigated early.
* Champion continuous improvement, modern product practices, and the cultural shift towards iterative, outcome‑led delivery.
* Contribute to governance, reporting, and decision‑making forums to ensure product direction is well understood and supported.
What You’ll Bring
* Strong experience as a Product Owner working within large, complex organisations.
* Proven ability to deliver large‑scale digital or transformation initiatives, ideally across multiple teams.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clarity for stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong understanding of product management principles, agile practices, and outcome‑focused delivery.
* Experience building and prioritising backlogs, facilitating discovery, and owning product roadmaps.
* Confidence driving discussions, challenging assumptions, and making informed trade‑offs.
* A collaborative, pragmatic mindset with a focus on value, not just output.
* Ability to influence teams and stakeholders towards product‑led, customer‑centric approaches.
Nice to Have
* Experience working on or alongside ERP transformation programmes (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.).
* Exposure to process redesign, operating model change, or enterprise‑level transformation.
* Understanding of finance, supply chain, operations, or back‑office business functions.
