Your role is to provide Stock Condition Surveys including HHSRS Surveys in accordance with the Councils requirements and computer software packages designed for this purpose. It will include surveys to support all areas of the Housing Service, ensuring that homes are maintained to an agreed standard and defects are investigated and rectified. You will carry out a rolling programme of Stock Condition Surveys to identify priorities linked to an overall Asset Strategy for the Councils housing portfolio. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide support and technical guidance during minor and major improvement projects.
You will have a minimum of a Level 4 qualification in Building Surveying or a suitable equivalent construction related subject and have in-depth knowledge of building construction and common building defects within a social housing setting.
