We are renowned for delivering exceptional weddings alongside charity events, corporate meetings and flagship company events, all supported by a professional and friendly team.We are now seeking an experienced Senior Banqueting Sous Chef to join our kitchen brigade and play a key leadership role within our banqueting operation.What youll be doing
* Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
* Preparing and delivering high-quality food for large-scale banqueting events
* Planning and organising daily food operations
* Leading, supervising and mentoring junior and agency chefs
* Taking full responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence
* Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and cleaning standards
About you
* Proven experience across all sections of the kitchen
* Strong banqueting background with high-volume service experience
* A confident senior chef who leads by example
* Passionate about food with excellent attention to detail
* Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team
Working pattern
* Predominantly 4 days per week
* Usually daytime hours: 8:00am6:30pm
* Occasional evening shifts only, depending on event requirements
* Weekends and bank holidays required as part of an events business
