Are you ready to make a real, positive impact on another person's life?
There are currently vacancies for Social Workers within East Sussex County Council's Learning Disability Service, offering an opportunity to work with adults, their families, and carers, and to contribute to improving their lives, prospects, and outcomes.
Our service is dedicated to working with clients to build on their strengths, enabling them to live full, independent lives within the community. This involves close collaboration with health colleagues and key partner agencies, so excellent communication skills are essential.
An important part of the role involves Safeguarding, including acting as the Lead Enquiry Officer and handling statutory responsibilities. You will need to be able to travel independently across the county, including rural areas, and occasionally visit clients outside the county.
We offer hybrid working arrangements, combining home and office-based work throughout the week, with vacancies at Cavendish House in Hastings and Bellbrook in Uckfield.
