This is a high-impact role where insight meets action. You'll turn data into confident negotiation strategies, coach category teams to think end-to-end about profitability, and help embed a smarter, more consistent approach to supplier management across the Group.
The Role
What you’ll be doing
* Partnering and coaching Category Managers and Directors to strengthen supplier negotiations and commercial decision‑making
* Translating value chain and margin insights into clear negotiation levers aligned to category strategy
* Supporting and, where appropriate, co‑leading supplier term negotiations to unlock valueTurning analytics into compelling, insight‑led stories that drive confident commercial action
* Influencing cross‑functional stakeholders across Commercial, Finance and Supply Chain to align on value opportunities
* Building negotiation capability through practical tools, frameworks and best practice sharing
* Contributing to a consistent supplier management methodology across the Group
The Person
What you’ll bring
* Extensive experience in buying, commercial trading, supplier management, or in account management within the retail/FMCG sector with hands‑on supplier negotiation expertise
* Strong understanding of supplier cost structures, trading terms and end‑to‑end profitability
* Confidence coaching and influencing stakeholders at mid to senior level
* Excellent data literacy, with the ability to turn insight into action
* Clear, persuasive communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
