Hays are working alongside a prestigious organisation who are looking for an Administration Officer on a temporary ongoing basis to provide high-quality administrative and reception support, ensuring the smooth operation of front-line services and internal processes. The role serves as a key point of contact for both internal teams and the public.
Your new role
As an Administration Officer, your role will involve:
1. Operateputer systems for data entry, reporting, and document management
2. Draft and process correspondence including letters, reports, and emails
3. Manage iing and outgoing mail distribution
4. Greet and assist visitors professionally
5. Handle telephone queries and operate a switchboard
6. Input and collate data accurately for internal use
7. Maintain filing systems and organise documentation
8. Act as the first point of contact for public enquiries
What you'll need to succeed
9. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills
10. Strong keyboard andputer proficiency
11. Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
12. Previous experience in administrative and/or reception roles
13. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
14. Professional and courteous approach to customer service.
15. Familiarity with document management systems
16. Experience working in a public-facing role
17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
