Project Manager Civils / Water / MEICA Location: Sites within a 5060 mile radius of WS1 4NN Salary: Competitive (DOE) package Start Date: February 2026 Type: Permanent The Role An established Tier 1 civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver multiple projects across water, civils, rail and process environments. You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring safety, programme, quality and commercial performance are met or exceeded. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from design through to completion and handover Full responsibility for programme, cost control, forecasting and reporting Lead site teams, subcontractors and direct labour Chair site meetings and manage client and stakeholder relationships Develop construction programmes and engineering solutions Ensure compliance with HS&E, quality and company procedures Manage change control, compensation events and additional works Support tendering and estimating where required Health, Safety & Quality Promote and enforce best-practice HS&E standards Ensure RAMS, project plans, QA files, ITPs and site records are maintained Oversee audits, reporting and regulatory compliance (HSG47, NRSWA, Chapter 8) Ensure as-built and O&M documentation is completed at handover Requirements (Essential) Proven Project Management experience within Civils, Water, Rail or MEICA Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (EWN & Compensation Events) Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) CSCS Manager Card, SMSTS, NEBOSH Construction Experience with Primavera P6 (or similar) Strong leadership, commercial awareness and problem-solving skills Experience managing direct labour delivery teams Desirable CEng / MICE Knowledge of JCT contracts Package & Benefits Competitive salary and pension Company car or allowance Private medical, life assurance, profit share 25 days annual leave bank holidays Career progression, leadership training and structured development
