Salary: A GBP 26,199 - A GBP 27,051 per annum

St Josephs Specialist Trust is a registered charitable trust supporting children and young adults with severe and complex social communication and learning disabilities. Their inclusive community includes a special school, college, children's home, and adult supported living home. They are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for their students aged 5-19, many of whom display challenging behaviors. They value resilience, compassion, and teamwork, and candidates should possess physical and mental resilience.

The Role

As a General Assistant (Cleaning), you will be the backbone of their safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

* Carrying out practical cleaning tasks across offices, classrooms, washrooms, and residential areas
* Managing stock of cleaning supplies and handling chemicals safely
* Responding promptly to spills and incidents
* Deep cleaning in line with schedules and specifications
* Laundry, waste, and recycling tasks
* Assisting with general estate and facilities duties as part of their team

Skills And Qualifications

* Candidates should possess physical and mental resilience and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
* Own transport is preferred due to their semi-rural location.

Training And Commitment

All successful applicants will participate in Team Teach positive behaviour support training during induction: a vital part of their approach to supporting their students. By joining them, you will become a key worker committed to making a meaningful impact.
