Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is looking to appoint a Senior Occupational Health Advisor to join our dynamic and supportive Occupational Health team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a proactive service that plays a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our staff community. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and on campus, depending on service requirements. As a Senior Occupational Health Advisor, you will be instrumental in delivering a high-quality, responsive Occupational Health service by: Providing expert case management support and advice to managers and staff Conducting workplace assessments and health surveillance Advising on health and wellbeing strategies, staff health policies, and procedures We’re especially keen to hear from candidates with experience in leading or supporting university-wide or organisation-wide wellbeing initiatives—this is an area we’re actively looking to grow. About You We’re seeking a compassionate and confident professional who thrives in a varied role and enjoys making a meaningful difference. You’ll be supporting staff across a wide range of roles, so strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with adaptability, are essential. Essential requirements: Registered General Nurse (RGN) Post-registration qualification in Occupational Health at degree level (or equivalent) Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. 2-5 years Occupational Health experience You’ll be supported by a nurse-led service with regular input from our appointed Occupational Physician.
