Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, our Marine division have an exciting opportunity to bring on board an Engineer on a permanent basis at our Dunmurry Site!
You, as our installation engineer will be involved in ensuring that our equipment is installed and maintained to the standards that Survitec expects. This is a great opportunity to build some fantastic global relationships as you get to travel the world in your job!
Experience is not necessary as a full comprehensive training programme will be offered to the successful candidate enabling them to achieve certification in the servicing and installation of MES Equipment, all we ask if that you have a can do attitude and natural mechanical aptitude/interest.
What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Installing and servicing of marine escape equipment on passenger carrying ships throughout the world
2. Liaising with clients and shipyards on their servicing and installation schedule
3. Ensuring client requirements are met and a first-class level of customer satisfaction is delivered
4. Deliver customer training as required
5. Any other appropriate duties as required by a relevant Line Manager in support of business needs
Skills
Essential
6. Demonstrable experience in packing Large Capacity Life rafts OR can demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude.
7. An excellent attitude towards Health and Safety in the Workplace.
8. A willingness and ability to undertake extensive travel Worldwide.
9. Good IT Skills and Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
10. A current, full driving license.
Desirable Criteria:
11. A Time-served fitter
12. Being educated to a min NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
