Relief Screening Officer
Pay: £19.17 per hour
Hours: 24 hours per week
Locations: E14 2AX, NW10 6PW, NW2 7AN, NW10 6SN, AL7 1QA, RH10 9BD – Must be within a 5‑mile radius and cover all sites.

Responsibilities
* Adhere to and apply the Screening Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
* Require datacentre personnel to utilise metal detection and/or wand for secure area access.
* Monitor traffic flow through screening checkpoints.
* Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel.
* Perform hand‑held wand searches and walk‑through metal detection searches.
* Follow safe work practices and be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety.
* Notify superiors of any unsafe working conditions.
* Carry out all functions, duties, or tasks in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, following applicable company policies and procedures.
* Seek clarification from superiors or authorised company representatives when uncertain.
* Complete mandatory screening training upon start. Failure to complete may result in withdrawal of contract offer.
Qualifications
* A valid SIA licence.
* A valid driving licence.
* Reliable, flexible and able to cover last‑minute shifts.
* Willing to travel and cover all of London.
* Capable of working independently for long periods.
* Right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history.
* Strong communication skills in English – both written and spoken.
