Located in Runcorn, United Kingdom, our newly extended 120,000 sq. ft. facility is a fully integrated site offering comprehensive manufacturing, repair, and overhaul services to the major players in the landing gear industry. Designated as a Center of Excellence, the facility specializes in surface treatment and assembly of small to medium sized landing gear systems.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring sales and cost of goods sold are accurately reported
* Producing accurate and insightful commentary on sales margins
* Identifying areas of overspend and working with the business to minimize the impact
* Inventory reporting, provision calculations and co‑leading the annual stock take with the Logistics Manager
* Active role in producing financial forecasts and budgets
* Improving and streamlining reports tailored to business need
* Working with Operations and Programme Managers to deliver financial business objectives
* Providing financial input on new business opportunities
* Providing cover for the Assistant Controller as required
Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
* Experience of business partnering and working across departments to deliver a positive change, ideally in a manufacturing environment
* Experience of cost analysis, inventory management, forecasting and budgeting
* Enthusiastic, proactive and thorough approach to work, with good attention to detail
* Ability to take ownership and responsibility of work, managing workload to meet deadlines
* High standard of IT literacy, and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial
* Superb analytical skills, with strong commercial awareness and business acumen
* Leadership potential and the ambition and drive to progress in the future
* Objective/ critical judgement required during financial reviews to deliver results
* Good communication/ presentation skills to be able to deliver financial/ technical information to various stakeholders across the business
