Salary: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role:
A vibrant secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support learning across a range of subjects. This role will involve small group interventions, whole-class support, and delivering pre-planned lessons when teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the teacher’s absence
* Support targeted pupils with interventions in literacy and study skills
* Work closely with the SENCO and subject leaders to ensure progress
* Provide 1:1 mentoring to pupils where required
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification or strong classroom experience
* Ability to deliver lessons confidently in secondary settings
* Good subject knowledge in English/Humanities desirable
* Excellent communication and resilience
