* This post is working nights
* The hours of work and shift patterns are 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, you will work the following hours dependent on which day the rota falls on:
o 21:30-06:00 Monday to Friday
o 18:00-06:00 Saturday and Sunday
* The rate of pay is: £17.00 per hour
Main Responsibilities:
As a Night Hygiene Machine Minder, you will:
* Strip down and clean the machinery and conveyor belts as per the cleaning schedule, reassembling and ensuring the machine is properly working once complete
* Complete the relevant paperwork once the work has been completed
* Report any issues the to your supervisor
* Report to the engineering and hygiene managers any maintenance requirements
* Write issues in the nightly log register
* Handle chemicals whilst cleaning the factory
* Be comfortable to work in confined spaces
* Be comfortable working at height
* Be happy to work in hot and cold environments
Ideal Candidate:
Our ideal Night Hygiene Operative will:
* Understand the workings of machinery and conveyor belts
* Be able to work with manual and power tools
* Have good observational skills
* Have a passion for delivering our customer orders whilst making sure our high Health and Safety, Food Safety and Product Quality standards are met
* Be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment
* Enjoy working at pace
* Have the motivation to take action and achieve results
Previous experience working in a factory or warehouse environment would be useful, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
