Senior Associate – Property & Liability Solicitor (5+ PQE)

Ready to take the next step in your insurance litigation career? This is a great opportunity for a Senior Associate Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join a busy Glasgow-based Property & Liability team acting for insurer and commercial clients on a broad range of high-value claims.

You’ll work on varied and technically interesting matters, while playing a key role in client relationships and supporting the ongoing growth of a well-established team.

The role

As a Senior Associate in the Property & Liability team, you’ll manage a diverse caseload while contributing to team development and client service delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• 
  
• Managing property damage, liability and recovery claims
• Advising clients on liability, quantum and case strategy
• Drafting and negotiating legal documentation
• Progressing claims efficiently from instruction to resolution
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
• Supporting business development through client engagement and training
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple offices

About you

This role would suit an Insurance Litigation Solicitor who:

• 
  
• Has 5+ years’ PQE and is qualified in Scotland
• Has experience acting for insurers or large commercial clients
• Is confident managing complex claims with minimal supervision
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Communicates clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues
• Is organised and able to manage competing deadlines
• Has experience or interest in mentoring junior team members
• Takes a commercial, client-focused approach
