Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Berkeley, MO is seeking Operations Analysis Engineers passionate about creatively solving complex problems at the front end of the business. These engineers lead and deliver analyses to address military capability gaps across multiple warfighting domains. They produce effectiveness analyses for warfare platforms and emerging technologies, integrating assets across air, space, surface, subsurface, and cyberspace domains. Observations from analyses will inform offerings and drive business strategy across the BDS portfolio. Collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams such as Mission Systems, Configuration Design, and Propulsion is essential.
We are hiring for a range of experience levels, including Associate and Experienced Operations Analysis Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
* Conduct study planning, scoping, development, testing, analysis, implementation, and reporting.
* Apply tools like AFSIM, MATLAB, and others to conduct analysis, develop observations, and present recommendations to government customers and senior leadership.
* Exercise critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
* Work in a fast-paced environment with evolving challenges.
* Support new business pursuits, including white papers and proposals, to shape new programs.
* Work independently or in teams as needed.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed locations. Travel up to 10% domestically may be required. The role requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) and the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* Level 2: 2+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or work-related experience with a Master’s.
* Level 3: 5+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelor’s, 3+ with a Master’s, or experience with a PhD.
* Prior experience with aircraft, spacecraft, weapons, or related systems.
* Technical communication skills for creating and presenting briefings.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 1+ years' related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
* Experience with modeling tools like AFSIM, Brawler, or programming.

Boeing is a Drug-Free Workplace. Compensation includes competitive pay and benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and more. The pay range for Level 2 is $81,600 - $110,400 and for Level 3 is $97,750 - $132,250. Applications are accepted until May 14, 2025. US Citizenship and security clearance requirements apply.
