Role: Mid Level Front End Engineer
Location: Remote, UK Only
Tech stack includes: React, Typescript, Redux, Next.js, CSS-in-JS, REST APIs
As a Mid Level Front End Engineer, you’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build fast, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces that make car maintenance effortless. You’ll be focused on Next.js, delivering polished features that delight customers.
This is your chance to join a medium sized company in the automotive tech space, shaping the future of car care in the UK. You’ll have the opportunity to own key parts of the frontend, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to this mission of making car repairs transparent and easy.
Essentials for this role:
* 3+ years front end development experience, with a strong React and Typescript focus
* Experience with Next.js on projects
* Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and best practices
* Experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
* Comfortable collaborating closely with product and design teams
* Strong communication skills and product-focused mindset
* Experience with RESTful APIs and state management (Redux or similar)
* Familiarity with CSS-in-JS or styled-components
* Passion for automotive tech or marketplaces
* Experience working in a remote-first environment
