Feed our customers, and we'll fuel your career!What you'll do:Assist with the preparation and presentation of food to company standardsProvide an efficient, friendly and professional service to customers across all catering areasServe customers at the counter during service times, ensuring food is presented in a clean and hygienic environmentOperate the till and complete all required sales controls and documentation accuratelyMonitor food safety standards, including checking deliveries and recording food temperaturesMaintain high standards of cleanliness by cleaning equipment, floors, walls (up to 6ft), fixtures, fittings, crockery, cutlery and glassware in line with cleaning rotasEnsure tables, service counters and food displays are clean, stocked and well-presented throughout serviceSupport stock control, ordering processes and budgeted GP within your areaReport customer feedback, complaints or incidents promptly and take appropriate action where possibleComply fully with Company and Client policies and statutory regulations including Health & Safety, Food Safety, Fire and COSHHBuild positive working relationships with colleagues and clients, contributing to continuous improvement and sharing best practiceAttend training and meetings as required and provide cover during holidays or sickness where neededWhat you'll bring:Previous food handling or catering experience (preferred)Food Hygiene Level 3 qualification (desirable)Strong customer service and communication skillsGood understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practicesAbility to follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all timesConfidence working both independently and as part of a teamA proactive attitude with the ability to respond positively to changing prioritiesHigh standards of personal hygiene and professional appearanceExperience with stock control or cash handling (desirable)COSHH and/or First Aid knowledge (desirable)Why Sodexo?:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.Belong in a company and team that values you for you.
