Lothian Valuation Joint Board is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the largest Valuation Roll, Council Tax List and Electoral Register in Scotland. The Technical Support Officer role works to provide an administrative support service to the Technical Resources Manager. The successful candidate will operate in a liaison role between Professional, Technical and Administration staff. Maintenance of data and information in our system is a core part of the role, along with research and analytical skills. The successful candidate should possess an HNC in Business Administration or equivalent and is required to work with minimal supervision using their own initiative. Knowledge of Lothian Valuation Joint Board and associated legislation would be advantageous. We are seeking an individual who is confident, self-motivated, and highly organised for this role, along with excellent research, project management and time management skills. The successful candidate must be a good communicator with a proven track record of relationship building and liaising with a variety of stakeholders.
