Salary: up to £50,700 pa / Rate up to £25.00 per hour, plus overtime rate
We are looking for an talented CNC Miller, Programmer Setter Operator to join this established precision sub-contracting engineering company. The role involves programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Miller to support our clients growing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC milling and demonstrate expertise in utilising advanced machining techniques. Key Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines with a focus on optimal quality and efficiency.
Utilise Fusion CAD/CAM software for the design and manufacturing process.
Operate both Haas and Siemens controls effectively.
Perform complex machining tasks on 5 Axis machines, ensuring precision and accuracy.
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to produce components to exact specifications.
Maintain equipment and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal machine performance.
Continuously seek process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
Collaborate with team members to problem-solve and innovate in the manufacturing process.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in programming and operating CNC milling machines.
Proficiency in using Fusion CAD/CAM software.
Competency with Haas and Siemens machine controls.
Experience with 5 Axis machining is essential.
Strong technical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
