Through undertaking the Digital Event Producer role, you’ll be able to fast-track your career in a content-focussed and commercially oriented role. Sitting within the Conference Production team, the role includes recruitment of speakers for our online events, content editing for our LifeScienceXchange platform and admin for our portfolio of in person events. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career path in research/events.
Role Responsibilities – Digital Events:
* Developing the programmes of digital events through identifying and inviting relevant speakers
* Lead-source, invite and liaise with senior-level speakers
* Support the marketing team to create website copy as and when needed e.g. highlight benefits & stand-out features of the online events
* Support the preparation & on-day delivery of digital events
* Database admin to maintain up to date records
* Transcription of content from our in-person events with AI support
* Creation of key takeaways / summaries for recorded presentations and events with AI support
Role Responsibilities – In Person Events:
* Provide conference production support for Senior Conference Producers and Production Director e.g. adding speakers to the website, CRM admin
* Attend in person conferences as and when needed, and alongside other team members perform all on-site event management tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the event
We are looking for someone with:
* A degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in the life sciences
* Excellent research and organisational skills
* Ideally strong writing and proofreading skills
* Good communication skills, with a willingness to undertake phone-based market research
* The ability to work independently and with others in the Production team/brand unit
More about the role:
* Salary: £25,000-27,000 PA
* Location: All our roles are hybrid (a mix of remote and in office). Our offices are located on the Botley Road in Oxford, with shops/restaurants within walking distance and easy access into Oxford City Centre.
