What difference will you make?
As a Marketing Officer (Volunteer), you’ll play a vital role in helping us raise awareness of DreamCatchers WorldWide UK (DCWUK)’s programmes and the positive impact we create in our communities.
By developing engaging content, managing our social media, and supporting promotional campaigns, you’ll help us reach more participants, attract new volunteers, and strengthen relationships with local partners.
Your work will directly enhance our visibility and credibility, allowing us to share the success stories of our projects — including Smart Tech for Seniors, youth development, wellbeing, and life skills programmes — with a wider audience.
Through your contribution, you’ll help us inspire greater community engagement, increase participation, and build the support needed to sustain and grow our charitable initiatives.
What are we looking for?
* Creative, reliable, and genuinely passionate about making a difference through storytelling and community engagement.
* Some experience or interest in marketing, communications, or social media is desirable but not essential.
* Good written and verbal communication skills, eye for detail and design.
* Confidence using platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or Canva is a bonus.
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, friendly team.
* Willingness to learn and enthusiasm for the mission of DreamCatchers WorldWide UK.
What will you be doing?
* Digital Marketing & Content Creation – Create, schedule, and manage content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok); design simple graphics, reels, or infographics using Canva; write engaging copy for posts, newsletters and blogs.
* Campaign Planning & Promotion – Help plan and deliver campaigns to promote events and classes (e.g. Smart Tech for Seniors) or fundraising drives.
* Support with Email Marketing – Draft or repurpose content for specific audiences and partners.
* Website & SEO – Assist in updating the website with fresh content, news or programme information; support basic SEO practices; monitor website traffic and analytics.
* Community Engagement – Respond to public enquiries or comments on social media; monitor engagement and help grow our online community; capture success stories or testimonials.
* Brand & Communications Support – Ensure consistent tone, language and branding across all channels; assist with creating or updating promotional materials; develop communications plans for new initiatives.
* Analytics & Reporting – Track performance of social media, campaigns and emails using Meta Business Suite or Google Analytics; provide basic reports and recommendations for improvement.
Location: Remote (full‑time or part‑time as discussed).
Commitment: 20‑30 hours per month.
