The role
As a Landlord & Tenant/Valuation Surveyor you will be working with a loyal client base looking after a diverse portfolio. The role covers two areas
Lease advisory
Client Service:
* Advise clients on lease events including rent reviews, lease renewals, break clauses, surrenders, and re-gears for landlords and tenants etc.
* Interpret and apply lease terms, statutory provisions, and case law to provide accurate technical advice.
* Respond promptly to client queries and maintain strong professional relationships.
* Attend client meetings and present findings, recommendations, and negotiation strategies.
Technical & Analytical:
* Analyse market comparables, rental evidence, and valuation data to support negotiations.
* Prepare detailed reports, calculations, and recommendations for lease events.
* Monitor critical lease dates and ensure timely action on renewals, reviews, and breaks.
* Assist with dispute resolution, including preparation of submissions for arbitration or expert determination.
* Collaborate closely with the property management and commercial agency teams.
Compliance & Process:
* Maintain awareness of relevant legislation, RICS guidance, and best practice standards.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping and database management for client portfolios.
* Support internal quality assurance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Valuations
* Deliver RICS Red Book valuations across commercial and residential assets, including retail, office, industrial and development sites.
* Undertake valuations (non-secured lending) for a range of clients.
* Carry out inspections, measurements and market research to support detailed reporting.
* Liaise with clients throughout instructions.
* Manage a varied caseload, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
* Support business development and client relationship initiatives.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience of Landlord & Tenant and Valuation work;
* RICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer;

* Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills;
* Excellent analytical, numerical and report-writing skills;
* Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities;
* The ability to form and maintain strong business relationships;
* Team Player but also an ability to work autonomously;
* Be a highly motivated individual with a ‘can do’ attitude and a desire to progress and learn;
* Have a proactive attitude and the ability to multitask.
Salary & Benefits
You’ll be offered a competitive salary of up to £70,000 per annum depending on your experience and a comprehensive benefits package:
