Assistant Support Worker - Grove Gardens Flats/Studios We currently have opportunities for part time (22.5 hours) and full time (37.5 hours) Assistant Support Workers at our scheme Grove Garden Flats in High Wycombe providing supported living for individuals with learning disabilities. This property is adjoined to Grove Gardens Studios and comprises of six one-bedroom flats and 8 studio flats. They are home to 14 male and female residents between the ages of 24 and 55, and the individuals living within the service attend a range of day services and community opportunities. What You will Do: As an Assistant Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live as independently as possible. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Aid with the daily administration of medication Supporting with personal care in a dignified and respectful way Encouraging life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgeting Organise trips to local amenities Promoting independence and helping residents achieve their personal goals Following tailored support plans and risk assessments to ensure safety and wellbeing As an Assistant Support Worker you will; Provide appropriate support to service users who are living in their own homes or in a supported housing setting to enable them to support their aspirations and maximise their independence. Provide personal care but your role will also involve promoting life skills such as shopping, managing budgets and supporting with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning. Build long lasting support relationships with people who will benefit from you \"being the difference\". Follow agreed support plans and risk assessments to ensure that we are providing a service that meets each individual’s needs. No Experience?
