Array Cable Project Engineer - London (with travel to EU) - 11-Month Contract

Main responsibilities:
* Responsible for the engineering of supply, jointing, termination, and testing of array cables, including connection equipment, in compliance with HVC standards during project maturation and execution.
* Leading technical interfaces within the cable package, providing HVC technical input to stakeholders and suppliers.
* Ensuring internal stakeholder requirements are incorporated into supplier designs.
* Evaluating suppliers' technical proposals.
* Ensuring detailed design approval for certification.
* Verifying supplier’s product design via review and independent analysis.
* Reviewing and approving cable route designs and routing plans.
* Providing technical input on project risks, change requests, and claims.
* Managing project-specific inspection and testing activities.
* Reviewing and accepting quality documentation from suppliers.
Minimum requirements:
* Deep understanding of HV cable systems, electrical and thermal aspects, and industry standards.
* Ability to provide effective technical solutions during project execution.
* BSc Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
* At least 5 years of practical and theoretical experience with high voltage array cables and accessories.
* Strong project engineering skills, including integrity, communication, adaptability, teamwork, and decision-making; experience with Ørsted tools is a plus.
