The School of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health
is looking for a Research Assistant / Associate to contribute to/make a leading contribution to a programme grant awarded by British Heart Foundation entitled: Targeting RUNX to Attenuate Adverse Cardiac Remodelling and Progression to Heart Failure working with Professors Christopher Loughrey, Stuart Nicklin, Ewan Cameron and Colin Berry (University of Glasgow).
The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals, supervision of students within the research group as well as help manage and direct this project as opportunities allow.
To be considered for an appointment at Grade 7, you must be able to perform the duties as listed for a Research Assistant position with a higher degree of independence, leadership, and responsibility, particularly in relation to planning, funding, collaborating and publishing research, and mentoring colleagues.
