The Nursing Home is situated in Bradford,BD3, the 85-room facility at The Care Centre offers a range of specialist care for residents, ranging from Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s care, to care for stroke victims.
Successful applicants, will have 1-2 years experience preferably in a similar role.
Salary: £12.81 per hour
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
2. Support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.
3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
5. Help patients with mobility and physical activities as required.
6. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
7. Assist with the administration of medication under supervision.
Requirements
8. Experience in a similar role in the UK for at least 1 year
9. Strong communication skills
10. Ability to follow care plans effectively,
11. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
12. Experience in providing care in a home care setting
13. Proficiency in English and basic IT skills
14. Prior experience in a care home environment
15. Team player
16. Ability to work on own initiative
17. A caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
18. Basic knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology.
19. Relevant certifications such as an NVQ in Health and Social Care are beneficial.
20. Flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to different healthcare settings.
