We are a close-knit team supporting six individuals with learning disabilities, aged 24 to 56, across three houses in Leicester. Each person has unique personalities, routines, and aspirations, making our work meaningful. You will help enable them to live fulfilling lives on their terms, stay connected with loved ones, and explore new experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Mentoring and supporting your team, providing guidance and encouragement.
2. Ensuring compliance with regulations while prioritising the health and happiness of those supported.
3. Managing rotas, finances, inspections, and daily operations to keep the houses running smoothly.
4. Advocating for individuals and creating an inclusive environment where everyone's voice is heard.
5. Supporting individuals with daily activities, such as personal care, activities, and community engagement.
Requirements
* Must hold a UK manual driving licence and be willing to drive adapted vehicles.
* Experience in a supervisory role is desirable but not essential.
* Flexible, organised, and solutions-focused mindset.
* Good communication skills and attention to detail, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Ability to promote a positive, inclusive environment.
