Security Officer
Shift Pattern:
7 days on / 3 days off, then 7 days on / 4 days off
About the Role
We're looking for a confident and professional Security Officer to join our team at a high-quality corporate site. This role blends security operations with front-of-house customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
You'll be a key point of contact on site, representing both the client and the security team, and playing an important role in day-to-day operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing a welcoming, professional service to staff, visitors, contractors, and stakeholders
2. Monitoring CCTV, access control, and other security systems
3. Responding to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
4. Carrying out internal and external patrols in line with site procedures
5. Managing visitor access, contractor passes, keys, and car parking lists
6. Escorting contractors and service providers as required
7. Completing accurate incident reports and security documentation
8. Liaising with landlord security teams, Corporate Security, and the London Command Centre
9. Providing cover for the receptionist during breaks and on-site events when needed
Full site and corporate security training will be provided, including emergency procedures and probationary assessments.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
10. A minimum of 3 years' security experience
11. A valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence
12. First Aid training and certification
13. Experience using CCTV and electronic access control systems
14. Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Windows and MS Office
15. A good level of physical fitness for patrol duties
Desirable (but not essential):
16. SIA CCTV licence
17. SC Clearance

20. Remains calm, professional, and decisive in emergency situations

22. Works well as part of a team and is flexible to support additional cover when required
23. Has good timekeeping and attendance
